52nd QMA China Member Meeting & 1st QMA China & Partners Meeting in Beijing

On December 11, 2025, the 52nd VDA Quality Management Committee (QMA) China Member Meeting together with the first-ever QMA China & Partners Meeting was successfully held in Beijing. More than 80 quality management experts from across the entire automotive value chain came together - ranging from established OEMs and suppliers to representatives from software, data, and emerging technology companies.


VDA QMA China would like to express its sincere gratitude to Volkswagen Group China for hosting this important event, and to all participants from member companies, government authorities, certification bodies, and industry associations for their active engagement and valuable contributions.

Key Contents & Highlights under the topic of “Data Driven Quality”

  • Opening address by the VDA QMC China GM Stefan Bücke – given an update on the current transformation of the QMC China and the new QMA Meeting format.

  • Welcome remarks by Dr. Cisek, CEO Volkswagen Brand China

Interactive Workshop Sessions

 Participants from VDA Members and Partners engaged in in-depth discussions within three focused working groups, addressing:

  • The value of VDA standards in the context of increasingly stringent Chinese regulations

  • ASPICE in the Chinese market, particularly in interaction with local standards

  • How to master data-driven quality management within collaborative and cross-company ecosystems


The event concluded with closing remarks by Sun Chen, Head of QA Compliance & Conformity, Group Quality Assurance & Quality Assurance Volkswagen Brand, Volkswagen Group China, summarizing the key outcomes of the discussions and outlining a clear perspective for future collaboration.


Outlook

With the launch of the QMA China & Partners Meeting, QMA China has taken an important step toward closer collaboration with leading Chinese OEMs and suppliers. Starting in 2026, this expanded meeting format will take place twice a year, with the shared goal of continuously strengthening and advancing the automotive industry’s quality governance framework.
